Meet the Streamers: Shaping the Future of Australian Content

At the 2024 Australian International Movie Convention, CAA Executive Director Cameron Mitchell threw down the gauntlet and dared to imagine a pathway to Australian films achieving $100million or 10% of gross box office or 6+ million admissions to Australian local films annually.

Building on the vision of the Australian Feature Film Forum, this session aims to explore a whole of industry engagement in achieving this goal. Moderated by producer Sue Maslin, the session will discuss new thinking about financing models from the perspective of filmmakers, distributors, exhibitors, private investors and screen agencies.
