Join acclaimed Australian director Scott Hicks and guests Meg Washington, Elliott Wheeler and Evan McHugh for a discussion on the powerful role music plays in film.

 

Scott is best known for his work on Shine and most recently The Musical Mind: A Portrait in Process. Aria award-winner Meg is known for How To Make Gravy, and the upcoming The Deb. Elliott is best known for Elvis and The Great Gatsby, and Evan for Elvis and the upcoming Apple Cider Vinegar. The panel will explore how music shapes storytelling and enhances the cinematic experience.
