Gill Lomas spent the first 10 years of her career working in the UK, making documentaries for Channel 4 and the BBC.  At the BBC Gill worked on a variety of studio and field-based shows and spent time as a news reporter. A move to Australia in 1994 saw Gill join the ABC’s Natural History Unit, where she worked as both a Series Producer and Executive Producer for over 13 years on many award-winning shows and series.  After a few years on entertainment shows, Gill joined the Gardening Australia team, where she has remained for the last 14 years as Executive Producer, taking the program from a humble half hour offering to an hour-long prime time show.
