Join homegrown talent Brenton Thwaites on a journey from Summer Bay to Gotham City in a one-on-one interview delving into his career across film and television. 

Brenton breaks down his iconic roles from performances in classic Aussie soaps, to Hollywood blockbusters and television, sharing anecdotes from set and examining how his creative process has evolved.

Moving through his career from Home and Away, to teen drama series Slide (2011), Mike Flanagan’s Oculus (2013), Disney’s Maleficent (2014), The Giver (2014), Gods of Egypt (2016) and the fifth instalment of Pirates of the Caribbean franchise: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017). Up to his time as Dick Grayson / Robin in the DC Universe series Titans (2018-2023), and recent work in 2020’s I Met A Girl, which he also executive produced. 

In this exclusive conversation, Brenton explores the diverse characters he's brought to life and shares the experiences that have honed his craft.

Since graduating from the Queensland University of Technology in 2010 Brenton has forged a successful film and television career both in Australia and the United States. He played the lead role of “Dick Grayson” in the popular DC superhero series Titans for four seasons from 2018 – 2023. Other US credits include the feature films: Malificent, Pirates Of The Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and The Giver. A selection of Australian credits include; Son Of A Gun, Ruben Guthrie, Save Your Legs, Gods Of Egypt and I Met A Girl, on which he was also an Executive Producer. Brenton has just concluded shooting his next Australian project, the film How To Make Gravy directed by Nick Waterman.
