Join the beloved presenters of ABC’s Play School for a spectacular live show filled with music and an arts and craft activity! This show is perfect for pre-schoolers with lots of songs to get the little ones singing and dancing along.

As part of the show, children will also learn how to measure and make their own paper hats, which then they can take home to commemorate their Play School experience. Ideal for children aged 3-5, this 40-minute show promises to be a fun-filled experience for children and families!

Luke Carroll

Luke Carroll is a seasoned theatre, film, and television performer. Recent shows include The Artful Dodger for Disney+, Upright for Foxtel, Maverix and Preppers for ABC Television and the first season of Total Control for ABC. Luke has been performing in theatre for many years, with roles in all Australian mainstage theatres – in the past year he starred in the critically lauded At What Cost for Belvoir and The Visitorsfor STC. Luke is also a longtime Playschool and Sydney Weekender presenter.

Michelle Lim Davidson

Michelle graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2010 and has since worked extensively in Theatre, TV and Film. Michelle’s theatre credits include Torch the Place, An Ideal Husband (Melbourne Theatre Company); On The Beach, Banging Denmark, How to Rule the World, Top Girls and Power Plays (Sydney Theatre Company), The Feather in the Web and The Lysicrates Prize (Griffin Theatre Company); Play School Live (ABC); The Laramie Project (STC Education); The Plant and Seminar (Ensemble Theatre); Far Away (Black Swan Theatre Co) and as the guest star alongside John Cleese in the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.

Michelle was most recently seen on 9 Network’s After the Verdict and ABC’s The Newsreader for which she received two AACTA nominations for Best Supporting Actress in a Television Drama. Michelle’s other television credits include The Secret She Keeps, Harrow, Black Comedy, Nursery Rhyme News Time, Science Time, Get Krack!n, Top of the Lake: China Girl, Utopia, Doctor Doctor, Live from Planet Earth, Big Ted’s Big Adventure and Jay’s Jungle. Michelle is also a regular presenter on Play School and ABC KIDS Listen’s Story Salad. Michelle’s film credits include Ivan Sen’s Goldstone and the short film Beyond the Bubble selected for the Sydney Film Festival 2017.

For her performance in The Feather in the Web, Michelle was nominated for Best Female Actress in a Mainstage Production at the Sydney Theatre Awards and was the recipient of the 2013 Mike Walsh Fellowship. In 2016 Michelle received the Equity Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series for Utopia and in 2022 the Equity Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for The Newsreader. In 2022 Michelle was also awarded a CGA Rising Star.

Michelle is an emerging writer for television and stage. Presently, she holds a residency at Griffin Theatre Company's studio program. She is currently developing her own stage work as a playwright. Michelle also works as a Cultural Consultant on The Newsreader ABC. She has written for the series Born to Spy for ABC ME, Buster Productions and Aquarius Films and The Wonder Gang for ABC Kids. Michelle’s play Where We Love is Home was selected for Sydney Theatre Company’s Rough Draft program.

In 2023, Michelle was appointed as a Commonwealth representative on the board of the Australian Children's Television Foundation.
