Kids Acting Class: 11-12 Years

Are you a budding actor wanting to dazzle the audience with a stellar performance? If you're keen to hone your acting skills and break out of your shell, come along to a special Kid's Acting Class for ages 11-12, run by AACTA Youth Ambassadors Charlotte Stent (Bluey, Sweet River) and Chaydon Jay (Elvis). Get inspired and ready to show off your acting talent with a range of fun drama activities, including games, charades, one-word stories, and even a chance to improvise a comedic scene in this special 50-minute class.

NOTE: Children must be accompanied by at least one parent. Please register one ticket per child when booking (you do not need to register for parents).

Charlotte Stent

I'm Charlotte, a Youth Ambassador for AACTA and I love all things TV & Film! I've been acting for 10 years and currently screen in multiple productions on platforms including Foxtel, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, ABC/BBC. Some highlights include staring in a lead role in a production that screened at the Venice Film Festival last year. I also worked with Ludo Studios for five years, featuring as multiple characters in the award-winning TV show Bluey. Prior to this, I appeared on screen in the iconic US TV Show, Sesame Street. I play "Lucy" in The Very Excellent Mr Dundee as Paul Hogan’s Granddaughter, alongside Jacob Elordi. I also played the role of “Sally” in AACTA Award winning The Bureau of Magical Things (Netflix/Nickelodeon) and “Young Maggie Diggins” in Combat Wombat (Universal Pictures), alongside Deborah Mailman.

Chaydon Jay

Chaydon Jay is most known for his standout portrayal of "Young Elvis" in Baz Luhrmann's acclaimed biopic "ELVIS". He has been working within the Film and TV industry for over 8 years and within this time has been awarded several academic and acting scholarships. Chaydon possesses extensive national and international credits spanning across feature films, independent films, short films and commercial projects.
Chaydon has a diverse heritage encompassing Australian, English and Maori descents. He was born in Sydney, Australia, before relocating to the Gold Coast at the age of 2.
Chaydon is extremely passionate about the craft of acting and thrives on collaboration. He has been fortunate to work with some of the industry's most inspiring talents. It was his transformative experience under the guidance of visionary Baz Luhrmann that stands out as a pinnacle moment in his aspiring career.
